花見友紀の「鉄道のある日常」

久しぶりに東急池上線に乗った。2007（平成19）年の末に新7000系電車を撮り行ったのだが遇えず、1日に再び挑戦することにした。

五反田駅の池上線ホームでカメラを構えていると、一発で新7000系が来た。7101Fだった。

I went travelling with Ikegami Line after a long time. On December 29th last year, I went there to take photographs of new type Ikegami Line train, 7000 Series, but I couldn't see. So I tried to do it again.

When I came to Gotanda Station and set my camera at the end of the platform, 7000 Series came in a few minutes. It was 7101F set.

車体に書かれた型番や号車の数字は5000系電車までとは違い丸みを帯びた字体で、先頭も丸みを帯びた流線型で、池上線サイズの18m級の車体もあいまってかわいらしい車両である。塗装は池上線沿線の閑静な住宅街に調和する緑色。これはステンレス化される前の東急電車の色でもあり、昭和の雰囲気が残る沿線に再び緑色の電車が帰ってきたようにも、僕の目には映る。昭和30年代生まれの7700系電車に代わり、懐かしい緑色の新型車両2代目7000系電車が今後池上線の顔として定着するにはまだ時間がかかりそうだ。

車内は落ち着いた雰囲気の木目調の化粧板と緑色の座席で自然なイメージを出している。各ドア上には5000系同様「TOQビジョン」が2台設けられ、鴨居には5011F以降の5000系やJR東日本E233系で採用されているドアの開閉を点滅で知らせるランプもある。ただ、5000系までの東急電車は運転席後ろの窓ガラスが大きくかぶりつきやすかったが、7000系では横幅はそのまま高さが低くなり屈まないと見えなくなった。

The font of car number and the streamline shape at its face is roundish, and it has 18-metre/59.055-foot-long body, 2-metre/6.56-foot shorter than 5000 Series on Toyoko Line, Den-en-toshi Line, and Meguro Line, which makes me feel that it looks cute. Its body livery is coloured by green, which can match residential area along Ikegami Line. Green was the symbol colour of old Tokyu carriages before appearing carriages made from stainless steel. It is said that Ikegami Line area has an atmosphere of Showa period (1926 - 1989), so I see that green is not a new colour. 7000 Series, which revives the classical colour, is planning to replace 7700 Series, the first carriage which has full stainless steel body among Tokyu and debuted in 1962.

The interior of 7000 Series is coloured like the grain of wood, and has green-coloured seats, two LCDs named "TOQ Vision", and the blinking light informing the doors open and close. However, its glass behind the driver's cab is smaller than that of 5000 Series, which makes passengers can't see front view easily.
