花見友紀の「鉄道のある日常」

大山詣りを終えて伊勢原駅に戻り、帰りは小田急5000形電車に初乗車した。

乗車区間は伊勢原駅～新宿駅間。車両は5054×10編成。



5000形は2020（令和2）年3月26日にデビューした小田急電鉄の最新型車両。総合車両製作所・川崎重工業・日本車輌製造の3社が共同設計した車両で、溶接技術は川崎重工業、車両妻面のオフセット衝突対策は総合車両製作所、ブロック工法（車体の座席部分と側扉部分を分けて組み立て両者をつなぎ合わせる製造方法）は日本車輌製造の技術をそれぞれ採り入れている。実際の製造は川崎重工業と総合車両製作所の2社が担当しているものの、前述の理由から川崎重工業の「efACE」でも、総合車両製作所の「sustina」でもない。

前面は黒色に塗装され、窓下の緩やかな曲線を描く長い前照灯・尾灯が特徴的である。帯はこれまでの車両と同様のインペリアルブルーに加えて、明るめのアズールブルーの細い帯も巻かれた2本が入る。

内装で目を惹くものが、木目調の床である。座席モケットは明るいビブライトオレンジ色。ドアチャイムは、開閉中のものがしなの鉄道SR1系電車と同じもの（JR東日本E235系電車と同じ音色で2打点）、開放中のものがJR東海N700系新幹線電車の開閉中と同じものが鳴る。

僕の乗車中の感想は、木目調の床とビブライトオレンジ色の座席が暖かみを演出し、三菱電機製SiC-MOSFET素子のVVVFインバーター制御装置の静かな走行音も相まって、とても居心地の良い車内環境を創り出しているという印象だった。一方、車両のデザインについては、前面の長い前照灯・尾灯が“笑顔”のように見え、東急2020系電車の前面にある三日月模様にも似た印象だった。


After going down from Mt. Oyama, I travelled on Odakyu 5000 Series, the latest model of commuter trains on Odakyu Odawara Line.

5000 Series debuted on March 26th, 2020, which is designed by the three major railway carriage manufacturers, J-TREC, Kawasaki Heavy Industry, and Nippon Sharyo. It is built under the methods of the manufacturers; Kawasaki's welding, J-TREC's crash protection, and Nippon Sharyo's separation of body manufacturing between around seatings and doors. Kawasaki and J-TREC do the production of the carriages.

The softly-curved light which functions as both headlight and taillight is laid out under the front window. It has the lines under the windows coloured in Imperial Blue, the symbol of Odakyu, and Azure Blue.

In its interior, wooden-like flooring patterns look attractive. The seatings are bright-orange-coloured. A chime the same as that of Shinano Railway SR1 Series rings when doors sliding, and the same one as that of N700 Series Shinkansen does when opening.

In my opinion, wooden-like flooring pattern, orange-coloured seatings, and silent machinery sound made a comfortable atmosphere of the interior. Its lights looked smiling face, which is the same impression as Tokyu 2020 Series.
