Concerts/SALT&SUGAR
SALT&SUGAR is a duo of Satoru Shionoya, the pianist who had belonged to Orquesta De La Luz, and Chikuzen Satou, the vocalist of Sing Like Talking. The pianist's name is Shionoya and "shio" is "salt" in English, and his nickname is "SALT". The singer's name is Satou and "satou" is "sugar". So the name of the group is "SALT&SUGAR".This album includes 10 cover tunes recorded at their concert in May 1996. Three-'Diary', 'Daybreak', 'Mominoki(a fir tree)'- are their original numbers.Jazz, soul, rock, pops... they really enjoy playing a wide variety of music of their basis. You can feel it from 'Day Tripper' and 'Love of My Life'-Chikuzen is an avid fan of Queen. As SALT&SUGAR, they've given various kinds of concerts since 1996. "Cross Your Fingers" is held in Osaka on every May 4(sometimes changes), the day before Chikuzen's birthday. "Saltish Night" is held in Tokyo late in every December. Those two are famous and highly appreciated among the music fans. However, while they've been performing together for 10 years, they have released only 1 single and 1 album. Many fans must be waiting for their next works.FHCF-2342 December 4, 1996 Fun House
