理想はシャドーイングだけど、背伸びせず、とりあえず、音読を目標にしています。
内容はかなりわかりやすいけど、attendとかearnとか、なじみがある単語だけど、実は思っていた単語とちょっと意味が違ってるものがあって、1単語1訳の限界をしみじみ感じる。

単語が楽なっているのは、ボキャマラの成果と信じたい。

attend というと、「出席する」という意味が頭にあって・・・

[intransitive and transitive] 出席する
to go to an event such as a meeting or a class

でも、ここでは、「大学に入学する」という意味。

[intransitive and transitive] （学校などに）行く、通う
to go regularly to a school, church etc

例文：
I am the first child in my family to attend college.

earnというと、「稼ぐ」という意味が頭にあって・・・

でもここでは、「理学士号を取得する」

・to be in such a distinguished company

distinguishというと、「区別する」とか意味しか知らなくて。

distinguished：著名な
successful, respected, and admired

companyもついつい「会社」と思ってしまう・・・
