I am teaching an English class at a university in Tokyo.
It is my first experience to teach at a university for an entire year.
I have only one class to teach.

My class is for students who somehow dropped out in their freshman year.
Since passing an English class is a requirement for the graduation, they are obliged to come to the class. Obviously, their motivation is fairly low as you can easily guess.

What I would like to achieve this year in this class is to boost up their motivation and make them enjoy using English. At least, I would like to cure their allergy to English.

What I do sometimes in the class is to let them modify the basic sentence using different subjects and tense such as....

Affirmative

I study French every day.
He studies French every day.
She studies French every day.
You study French every day.
They study French every day.

Negative

I do not study French every day.
He does not study French every day.
She does not study French every day.
You do not study French every day.
They do not study French every day.

Question

Do I study French every day?
Does he study French every day?
Does she study French every day?
Do you study French every day?
Do they study French every day?

Simple, but it works.
