「Ua Mau Ke 'Ea o ka 'Aina I Ka Pono」という曲をデニス・パバオが歌っています。

　メチャ好きなアーティストなんですよね。ゴールデン・ヴォイス、ゴッド・ブレスと呼ばれていました。どんな曲でも軽く歌い上げ、高音・低音域すべてが最高なのです！！
　また、スラック・キーによるギター、ウクレレ、タヒチアンウクレレと奏法も魅力なのです！！

　そう、過去形で書いたのは残念ながら２００２年？に亡くなってしまったからです。
　ホント残念。心の師匠です。

　「Ua Mau Ke 'Ea o ka 'Aina I Ka Pono」とは、ハワイ州のモットーで、「大地の生命は正義によって保持される」（The life of the land is perpetuated in righteousness.）と訳されますが、歴史的な意味合いから実際には、「この国の統治権は正当な行為によって維持される」という意味があります。

　カメハメハ三世の時代に、大英帝国の大佐が侵略し、ビクトリア女王がハワイ人に返還したという歴史的な出来事に関連するものだからです。

　そんなタイトルが付けられている曲です。
