People, bad or good actions, are caused by one's benefit. Even the killing, stealing or something against morals in society, is getting benefits. Killing is caused by defense from the person, stealing a bread is making his hunger filled.

Likewise good behaviors are caused by his/her benefits. Giving money to the poor is both poor and donors get benefits. The donors are happy by seeing the poor happy and appreciate the donors.

永遠に会話が続くのでここで止める。

私は「I am old school」だ。Qちゃんも「I am old school」的なところはあるが、マットと交流しているので「若者文化」にもついていける。

ここで「今日のななさん英語レッスン」です。「I am old school」とはどんな意味でしょう？

　「old school.」とは「古き良き」「古いけど魅力的なもの」などプラスの意味でも「時代遅れなもの」「保守的な」というマイナスの意味でも使う「古いものを表すスラング」です。

「old school」は「old school of thought (古い学校の考え方) の略」です。「古くて良い考え方」「古くて悪い考え方」の両極端のニュアンスを持つ言葉として使われます。話し手がどんな気持ちで「古い」と言っているかで意味が変わってきます。

「スモーキーの餌に栄養豊富なサボテンを加えてみようか？」

今日から老犬スモーキーの餌に「ピント豆」と「茹でたサボテン」と「ドッグフード」を混ぜて与えることにした。

あんなに好きな「クロワッサン」と「クリーム」なのに、今日は美味しいとは感じなかった。私の脳神経はコロコロと態度と気分を変えて「男・私の心を迷わすわがまま女」だ。

晩ご飯：

今夜はローズマリーと牛肉、丸ごとユーカンゴールドポテトと丸ごと大蒜、人参、玉葱を圧力鍋で煮込む。

オメガ３が豊富なスベリヒユを食べる。サボテンと味は似ていて火を通すと酸味が増す。

今夜もダナの夕飯料理「グレイビー」を作る。ご飯でも肉でもポテトでもパンでも何でも美味しくなる。「ダナの手料理」や「お金に堅実で謙虚な生活」に18歳の私は感化された。ダナとの出会いは「私のアメリカ生活」に強くプラスに影響している。

そして私はダナに憧れて「ホストマザー」を実現させた。６０代リタイア生活のダナと私は、年齢も経済面も「ホストマザーを持続する理由・動機」も異なっていた。私は2年で「ホストマザー」を辞めた。ダナは大学と留学生の間では評判が良い「20年間ベテランのホストマザー」だった。

ダナの料理になると、どうしても私は話が延長してしまう。私には「ダナの愛情料理」と「金沢の両親の愛情料理」は対等だ。誰かが「自分のために食事を用意してくれる」は「愛情表現」と私は考えている。
