I've had interested in Puyi(溥儀), or The Last Emperor, and the time when he lived since I watched Japanese TV drama "Li Xianglan, or Ri Kohran(李香蘭)" the other day. So I looked into his life on the Internet.

And then, I got the information about a certain Chinese TV drama. Its title is "末代皇帝, or The Last Emperor". This drama is based on Puyi's autobiography "The former half of my life(我が半生)", and is made under the supervision of his real brother, Pujie(溥傑).
Compared with the dramatized film "The Last Emperor" made by Bernardo Bertolucci, it is said that this Chinese TV version is faithful to historical facts and Puyi's life.

Having got these information, I was eager to watch this drama.
And luckily enough, I found that we could wacth it on Yahoo Japan Movies for free till the end of this month! There're 28 stories. It's a some epic.

Now I've been watching three stories each night and I'm lack of sleep during the day.

「李香蘭」を見て以来、あの時代と最後の皇帝、溥儀に興味がわきました。ネットで調べると、ヤフー動画で中国テレビドラマ「末代皇帝」が今月末まで無料で見られることが判明！このドラマは溥儀の自伝をもとに、弟の溥傑の監修のもと作られたんだそうです。なので物語化されたといわれるベルトルッチ監督の「ラストエンペラー」よりも史実に忠実だとか。全２８話。結構な大作です。一晩に３話ずつ見てるので、日中は眠いよ～。
