James
Hi everyone.I hope you're enjoying the rain. Someone told me today that thebeginning of the rainy season in Japan is when the cherry blossomsreach full bloom.I remember that last year the rainy season seemed endless and I spenteveryday frustrated with the weather. Even though it was spring, every day was cold and miserable.Today, because I didn't expect it to rain, I was at Redwood without anumbrella. I tried to steal one from Yacchan, but she didn't have oneeither. So I went to 7-11, but they were sold out. Eventually Iended up running from 7-11 to Omotesando station (which usually takesabout 8 minutes on foot) in the pouring rain. I got fairly wet and Ithink my cold has gotten worse.I envy the people who live on tropical islands. Sometimes I thinkthat European colonialists hundreds of years ago conquered islandcountries like Indonesia and Malaysia and New Caledonia because theywere angry that the people there could live life so happily. I'm suremy thought has no basis in reality, though.Enjoy your Thursday.
