車で約一時間かかる。ド田舎に住んでいるアタクシ達の田舎街からさらにずっとずっと田舎。田園風景の雪景色はどこか幸せそう。春も夏も秋も頑張った畑だから、冬は羽布団をかぶりぐっすり眠っているみたい。ありがとうありがとう。  あたたかで賑やかな車の中から冷たくて静かな白銀世界を眺めていると、幸せだな～と思う。 メイ達ははしゃいで道中ずっと歌を歌ってくれた。 アタクシ、笑うとまだ咳き込んじゃうんですけど。けんけんけんけんけん。 ついたら迷子にならない様に手を繋いでてね。同じ木がずっとずっと一杯並んでて迷子になったら大変だからね。  わ！メイちゃん、去年はサンタさんいたっけ？ 「いなかったよー。i'm gonna go say hi, okay？」 あ、はい。おっけーです。 わぁ、キャンディー・ケーンもらったの？ 「i said thank you. オイ didn't but i told him to！ then he did！」 woa. 偉い偉い！よかったね。  「タリア～。how's this one？ we found it for you！」 「yeah！ found it！」 ありがとう～。いいね～♪ すてき  「ムーミンおじちゃん！we found one！we found a tree！」 さんきゅー。hey, good job, that's nice！う～ん。ちょっと小さめかな... 二メートル半だからいいんじゃない？ 「yeah！it's good！」  オイちゃん、where do you think we should go after this？ 「あそこ！あそこ！」  ひゃー。 このレストラン、乗り物があって嬉しいね。  お気に入りの記事を「いいね！」で応援しよう

This is really North American: Like Kadomatsu in Japan people buy Christmas tree in every year.
I wish we are able to have a spare space to put real Christmas tree in Japan! It is impossible to keep 2.5m tall tree in Japanese houses... Do you hung and lit real candles on your tree? Ireally love that. (2007.12.18 14:27:32)

It is impossible to keep 2.5m tall tree in Japanese houses... guess that's true - we usually like to get a 9 foot tree， but went with the slightly smaller one that got chosen for us. ha ha. i love how the scent spreads throughout the house. ＞Do you hung and lit real candles on your tree? Ireally love that. um， we don't know anyone who does that. holy fire hazard batman. i bet it would be lovely， though. we had a terrible time trying to untangle all the lights!! thank goodness the cat doesn't show any interest in eating any of the ornaments. 子供の頃は生ツリー（笑）飾ってたのよー でも今じゃ場所も無いし、だいたいあんまり売ってないのよね。。 20年くらい前に1人暮らしを始めた時、オフィスのそばの花屋さんで、鉢植えのツリーを買ったの。 いい香りでねー、、子供の頃を思い出して色々オーナメント買って飾ったんだわー ツリーは翌年も使えたんだけど、2年目の夏に枯れちゃった。 そういえばあのオーナメントはどこだろう？（爆 (2007.12.18 19:53:46)
もみの木売り場もダイナミックですね。
サンタさんもいるんですね♪ 昔は、近くで生の木を売っていたので、一番大きいの（でも2mくらい）を買っていましたが、売らなくなってしまったので、ここ数年は電気でピカピカ光るツリーにしていますが、やっぱり木はいいですね。狭い日本の家だと、あの香りにむせてしまいそうにもなるんですけどね。 (2007.12.19 09:27:27)
