Crazy mama's Lazy life

宿題をしていたらちょっといいものをみつけました。
I wish I could be a person who is like…

I never give up the strong rain.
I never give up the strong wind.
I am not to be beaten by the snow storm or
by the summer's crazy hot heat.

I have a strong body.
I have no any human desires.
I never be angry, and am always smiling quietly.

I eat a small amount of food such as
four bowls of brown rice, miso, and some vegetables everyday.

I always control my emotions against every phenomenon.
I am carefully watching, listening, and understanding.
Then I never forget.

I live in a small shack with the thatch roofing in the shade of one pine tree in pinewoods in the fields.

If there is a sick child in the east,
I’ll go and take care of the child.
If there is a tired mother by her heavy workload in the west,
I’ll go and carry the heavy sheaves of rice instead of her.
If there is someone who is dying in the south,
I’ll go and tell someone there is no need to be afraid.
If there is a quarrel or a suit in the north,
I’ll tell people to leave off doing it because of the worthless.

When there is drought, I drop my tears for my mortification.
When there is summer cold, I wander with being upset for my powerlessness.
I am called “a useless fellow” by everyone.
I am not being praised, and not being cared by anyone.
Such a person, I wish I could be.

わたしは、岩手県盛岡に住んでいたこともあり、
何回か、花巻の賢治の博物館に行った事があります。
今でも宮沢賢治の書いた童話や詩を読むと
胸がどきどきします。

あと、大好きだったのが灰谷健次郎の本です。
せんせい、あのね、は何回も買いました。
