花見友紀の「鉄道のある日常」

22日、秩父鉄道へ、C58形SLパレオエクスプレスが、埼玉県秩父市を舞台とするアニメ「あの日見た花の名前を僕達はまだ知らない。」のヘッドマークを付けて走るということで、撮りに行った。

「あの花」と言えば、これまで僕は西武鉄道でのラッピング車両は何度か撮影したことがあったが、秩父鉄道の車両にヘッドマークが取り付けられたのを撮りに行くのは今回が初めてだった。車両は西武4000系であったが、アニメで秩父鉄道秩父本線を走る姿も描かれていたため、西武鉄道と同様にこれまでにもヘッドマーク付き列車を走らせていた。

僕が撮影ポイントに選んだ場所は、超人気撮影地である長瀞～上長瀞間の桜並木。この日は桜はまだで、撮り鉄の数も少なかったが、蕾が膨らみ始め、あと1週間程度経てば見事に咲き誇り、桜の中を走る列車を撮影する撮り鉄でごった返すことだろうと思いながら撮影に臨んだ。

まずは練習とカメラの調整も兼ねて、何本か列車を撮影しながら待った。そして11:37、遠くから長瀞駅を発車するSLの汽笛が聞こえ、いよいよ本番の時が来た。

煙突から煙を、床下から蒸気を吐き出しながら力強く走るSLの姿が見え、撮影体勢に入る。


On 22nd, I went photographing Class C58 steam locomotive on Chichibu Railway Line, on whose front an illustration of "Anohana ~the flower we saw that day~" characters was laid out.

It was first time for me to shoot the train with the front sign with the characters, though I have photographed those with the characters livery on Seibu Railway. Because Seibu 4000 Series running on Chichibu Railway Line was pictured on the anime, Chichibu Railway has run tie-up train several times.

Where I shot was under the cherry blossom trees between Nagatoro and Kami-nagatoro, one of the best famous photo spots. The blossoms were still in bud and not so many photographers were there, I felt many photographers would come there to shoot a train and the fully-blooming blossoms one week later.

While waiting for the locomotive coming, I shot several local trains to check the condition of my camera. At 11:37, I heard a whistle/hooter and start to photograph the locomotive.



多くの蕾を膨らませこれから咲き誇ろうとしている桜と、力強く走るSLを収められた。


I could take a shot of the locomotive and the blossomes start to bloom.


撮影後、僕は上長瀞駅から、秩父駅でSLを追い抜く後続の普通列車に乗り、三峰口駅へと向かい、SLの到着を待った。

遅れてSLが3番線に入線した。乗客を降ろした後、SLが客車から切り離され、給水のため側線に入る。駅の改札を出て、側線のすぐ横からヘッドマークを撮影。


After the shooting, I got on the local train which got ahead of the locomotive at Chichibu Station to go Mitsumineguchi terminal before the locomotive.

The locomotive arriving the terminal was uncoupled and moved to the side track to be ready for the next trip, fill its tank with water and coal. Going out of the station gate, I photographed the sign while it under prepearation.

側線での給水・石炭の補給を受けたSLは、ここ三峰口駅での最大の見どころとなる転車台へと移る。SLが回転する姿は多くの人を魅了する。


To be filled the tank, the locomotive moved to turntable, the turning is the highlight of the prepearation, which attracts many people.
