The flight to Athens was long.
I got bad motion sickness on the plane from Boston to Madrid.
I spent 45 minutes in the toilet.
Amy didn’t feel well either.

Lisa was the lucky one.
She didn’t get any sickness.
While Amy and I were “not feeling good”,
Lisa found someone to talk with.
Also, she is the only one enjoyed the airline food.

We had been hearing terrible reviews about Iberia airline.
We were worried they won’t feed us well and might loose our luggage.
However, they fed us pretty well and they didn’t loose any of our luggage.

Our limo driver from the airport to the hotel was terrible.
He was on the phone entire the time he was driving.
I can hear all his conversations.
One call was from his client in Washington DC.
The driver was not so polite talking to this client.
The other call was from his girlfriend or wife.
He was talking in a mixture of English & Greek very passionate but negative way.

The hotel was great. (I will write about the hotel and food next time.)

Athens is a city with Acropolis, Ancient ruins and nosy alleys.
We had a good hike at Acropolis.
The end of May is good time to visit.
In the summer, it would be too hot to walk around.
Also, it would be too crowded.

We wandered around Athens two days.
Most people there speak basic English.
Women in general are not so friendly.

We didn’t like the guys standing at the outside of the restaurant trying to drag customers off from the street.
They were so pushy.
Some of them grabbed Lisa’s arm.
I wonder why they need to get customers so badly;
it seemed they had enough customers sitting at the tables.

Otherwise, we felt safe working around in the city even at night.
