花見友紀の「鉄道のある日常」

近くの図書館で都営大江戸線の駅の写真集を見つけて借りてきた。2000年以降に開業した26駅が紹介されている。

写真と短い文章で、駅のテーマ、環境、素材、そして各駅を特徴付けるパブリックアート例えば僕が時々使う駅の1つ、若松河田駅。この駅の壁・天井の素材は100%リサイクル可能な製品を使っている。

駅やその周りの街のイメージ・文化・歴史を物語っているかのようにも見えるパブリックアートは大江戸線の駅の特徴の1つ。僕が気に入ったのは、飯田橋、清澄白河、月島、そして勝どきのもの。飯田橋は点字で書かれた詩で、作品全体で「風」をイメージしている。清澄白河は壁にではなくコンコースの真ん中に置かれている3-DCADを使った光学アート。月島は駅名のイメージからか、壁に9枚の平皿が置かれ、天井からの光がそれぞれ違った「月」であり、月の満ち欠けを表現している。勝どきはルネッサンス画風の海の神トリトンの絵である。


I found and borrowed a photo book about the stations on Toei Oedo Line. This book features the 26 stations opened after 2000.

It has many photos and short explanations of the theme, atmosphere, materials, and public arts those stations have or use. For example, one of the stations I sometimes use Wakamatsu-kawada introduces 100% recyclable materials for wall and ceiling.

The public arts put at the concourse seem to tell us the image, culture, and history of the stations or the town around them. My favourite is Iidabashi, Kiyosumi-shirakawa, Tsukishima, and Kachidoki. Iidabashi is the poem written in Braille imaging wind in whole. Kiyosumi-shirakawa is not a mural on the wall, 3-D optical art at the middle of the concourse. In Tsukishima 9 plates are laid out and the lights make the variation of the moon. Kachidoki has a renaissance-style picture featuring Triton.
