東急電鉄と西武鉄道の合同キャンペーン「秩父で楽しむ夏あそびキャンペーン2014」と、秩父市を舞台にした「あの花」のイベント「あの花夏祭 in 秩父 Final」の開催決定を記念して、「あの花」のめんまちゃんと東急電鉄のゆるキャラ、のるるんのツーショットを。

どちらも僕の好きなキャラクターなのだが、2013（平成25）年3月16日の東横線・副都心線相互直通運転が開始して、そして今回のキャンペーンが実施されていなければ、この2人は一緒に描いていなかっただろう。めんまちゃんは、やはりかわいらしさである、大きくパッチリとした瞳とワンピースのフリルを意識して描いた。一方のるるんは、イベントに登場する着ぐるみを参考にして描いてみた。


To celebrate the start of campaign to attract tourists to Chichibu Area, Saitama Prefecture, by Seibu Railway and Tokyu Corporation and the announcement of "Anohana ~the flower we saw that day~" Summer Festival Final, I represent a picture of Meiko "Menma" Honma from "Anohana" and Norurun from Tokyu Corporation.

Though both are my favourite characters, I don't draw and paint the two together if Tokyu Toyoko Line and Fukutoshin Line weren't connected and the tourist campaign not held. When drawing Menma-chan I carefully copied her big eyes and frilled one-piece, and Norurun did through watching a photograph of the living doll.



今回、東急電鉄が初めて秩父の観光キャンペーンに参加したことが何よりも特筆される。直通運転開始から1年4ヵ月、西武鉄道の「秩父フリーきっぷ」「秩父漫遊きっぷ」を使った観光キャンペーンはこれまでにも何度か開催されたが、今回初めて東急電鉄の「東急西武線まるごときっぷ」も対象に追加された。西武鉄道と東急電鉄は直通運転が始まった当初から、東急東横線・横浜高速鉄道みなとみらい線沿線からの秩父方面への観光需要の掘り起こしを模索してきたと言われており、これを目的とした東急電鉄の「東急西武線まるごときっぷ」のCMにも秩父を舞台としたものが4000系などのTOQビジョンで放映された。

のるるん、すなわち東急車の直通は飯能駅までで、西武秩父駅には乗り入れないが、以前にも書いた通り、飯能行き東横特急は飯能駅で西武秩父行き列車に接続しているため、「あの花」の舞台となったことや札所総開帳で注目の秩父エリアへも、東横線から行きやすくなった。横浜駅から西武秩父駅まで、飯能駅乗り換えで、約2時間35分。

「あの花夏祭り」は2012（平成24）年より開催されてきた、TV放送終了後の「あの花」ファンの夏の楽しみだったが、今年2014（平成26）年でFinalを迎える。Finalにふさわしく、映画版の上映や、めんまちゃんの声を務めた”かやのん”こと茅野愛衣ちゃんらをゲストに招いてのトークショーなど、豪華な内容になっている。夏祭りがFinalを迎えた後も、「あの花」ファンが秩父の街を愛し、秩父の街に集う新しいイベントを実施していってほしいと願う。もちろん僕も、「あの花」と秩父の街を末永く愛していきたい。


The notable point of this campaign is the first co-hosted by Seibu and Tokyu. "Tokyu Seibu Line Marugoto Pass", which allows you unlimited travel all over the Seibu Railway except Tamagawa Line from Tokyu Lines, is added to join the campaign as well as "Chichibu 2-day Pass" or "Chichibu Manyu Pass", which the campaign for the tourists has been held several times. Since the going-through service between Tokyu Toyoko Line and Seibu Ikebukuro Line via Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin Line, Seibu and Tokyu have tried to discuss how they newly create the demand for tourists to Chichibu from the towns along Tokyu Toyoko Line and Yokohama Minatomirai Railway. Before the start of the campaign a commercial of travelling to Chichibu Area with "Tokyu Seibu Line Marugoto Pass" on TOQ Vision, LCD above the doors of Tokyu's rolling stocks.

Though Tokyu's rolling stocks regularly operates up to Hanno, most of all limited express trains for Hanno connects to the local train for Seibu-chichibu to make the access convenient. Transferring at Hanno, it takes 2 hours and 35 minutes to Seibu-chichibu from Yokohama.

"Anohana Summer Festival", having been held every summer since 2012, one year after the end of TV series, as the event drawing "Anohana" fans there, ends this year. The last time is being held including special programs, such as the movie show and open talking inviting Menma-chan's voice actress, Ai Kayano. I wish the Chichibu City would be loved by "Anohana"fans for a long time.



東急電車好きなら、「東急西武線まるごときっぷ」のフリーエリアからは外れてしまうが、西武秩父駅に近接する御花畑駅から秩父鉄道に乗ってみるのもいかがだろうか？

秩父鉄道には、のるるんの先輩でもある東急電車の8500系と8090系が移籍し、活躍している。特に8090系は3両編成7本と、先頭車化改造車からなる2両編成4本が在籍する主力車両となっている。

来年2015（平成27）年、8090系が1980（昭和55）年のデビューから35周年を迎えることにちなみ、秩父鉄道に移籍した8090系1編成を東急（東横線時代）カラーに戻すといったイベントをやってほしいものだ。


If you love Tokyu's rolling stocks, I recommend you to travel with Chichibu Railway, which is out of the unlimited travel area of "Tokyu Seibu Line Marugoto Pass".

On Chichibu Railway two old rolling stocks from Tokyu, 8500 Series and 8090 Series, is in service. In particular, 8090 Series moved to seven 3-carriage sets and four 2-carriage sets, which is converted from the middle ones, runs as the major rolling stocks.

As a Tokyu lover, I wish a 8090 Series set on Chichibu Railway would be restored the look when it belonging to Tokyu with red line because of the 35th anniversary since 8090 Series' debut in 2015.
