花見友紀の「鉄道のある日常」

向谷実さん・SUPER BELL"Z出演の東横線80周年イベントの次は、川島令三先生・横見浩彦さん・木村裕子さん出演の「平和島競艇 トレインフェスティバル」。

このイベントは平和島競艇場で「京浜急行社長杯」が開催されている5月3日・4日の2日間に行われたもの。都合よく渋谷のイベントの次の日に3人のトークショーがあった。この3人の中で川島先生はめったにイベントに顔を出さないことと、僕自身が先生の本の愛読者であるということからぜひとも見たい存在だった。横見さんと木村さんも今回初めて間近に見ることとなった。

品川から久しぶりに京浜急行に乗り平和島駅に降り立った。僕が平和島駅に降りるのはこれが初めてだ。そこから大森海岸方面に線路沿いの道（第一京浜）を歩いておよそ10分、平和島競艇場に着いた。未だ入らぬ公営ギャンブルの地にも初めて行くこととなった。開場は10:00で僕が着いたときにはかなりの余裕があり、鉄格子のシャッターの真ん前に立って待っていた。9:45頃、中から横見さんと裕子ちゃんの姿が見えた。僕はすかさず声を掛けたが、横見さんがそれに気づいてくれた。2人はシャッターの向こう側で僕たち来場者に「もう少し待ってて」「お楽しみに」みたいなことを言ってまた奥へ行った。



10:00、シャッターが上がり、100円玉をゲートに入れて会場入りした。トークショーは4回あり、1回目は10:10からだったのですぐにメインステージへ。すると「鉄子の旅」のテーマソング、SUPER BELL"Zの「なんかアリかもね」が聞こえ出し、司会進行のお姉さんとお三方が登場。最初は「京浜急行の魅力」について語ってくれた。3人がそれぞれ京浜急行の魅力を語る中で、川島先生が川崎競馬場や花月園競輪場で警備のアルバイトをしていたということを知った。



ここから2回目までは時間があるので、京浜急行のHOゲージ模型の運転会を見てきた。
落合南長崎にあるKATOのホビーセンター前に展示されている230形から最新の2100形・新1000形まで京浜急行の歴代車両をオーソドックスな円形のレールの上を走るものだった。上の写真は2100形と新1000形のすれ違いシーン。

12:10からの2回目は、川島先生が単独で「環境に優しい乗り物・鉄道」をテーマに「進化形路面電車」とも言えるライトレールや狭軌の貨物列車を載せる標準軌（新幹線）の貨物列車「トレイン・オン・トレイン」の2つについて話してくれた。

13:10からの3回目は木村さんのミニライブ。ステージ上では横見さんが見守る中「私のマルスを操るのはキミだけ」（フルコーラス）と「鉄ヲタだって人間だぁ!」（1コーラス）の2曲を歌ってくれた。2曲とも僕は初めて聴いたが、歌詞の中に鉄道言葉が多く登場していたのが気に入った。本人曰く、初めて歌詞を間違えずに歌えたんだとか。

14:10からのラスト4回目は3人に質問のコーナー。今日会場へ来た方々が事前にお三方への質問やメッセージを募集し、司会進行のお姉さんがそれを読み、3人がそれぞれ答えてゆくという形式だった。僕も質問を書こうと思ったが、結局出せずじまいに終わってしまった。そんな中、横見さんに「私たちのテンションを上げて下さい」というメッセージがあり、裕子ちゃんも横見さんに「鉄子の旅」でもおなじみのハイテンションな言動をしてと頼んだ。このハイテンションな横見さんは漫画ほどうるさくないと思った。

すべてのトークショーが終わると僕は平和島駅に戻り、京浜急行の写真を撮りながら帰路についた。


On the next day of Toyoko Line 80th anniversary event, I went to Heiwajima Kyotei Stadium, Ota-ku, Tokyo.

This event was held on Keikyu president cup season, from May 3rd to 4th. On 4th, Ryozo Kawashima, the most famous Japanese railway analyst, Hirohiko Yokomi, a Japanese travel writer who got on and off all train stations in Japan and appeared on a Japanese comic "Tetsuko no Tabi", and Yuko Kimura, a Japanese idol loving trains, had talk shows. I wanted to see Kawashima because he hardly ever appears events like this time, and I like to read his books. And I also saw Yokomi and Kimura first time.

Getting off the train at Heiwajima Station, I walked on the Daiichi Keihin Street along the railway to Omori-kaigan. In 10 minutes, I got to Kyotei Stadium. It was also my first time to go to the public sports stadium. The opening was 10:00 AM, and when I came there, it had few persons, so I could wait in front of the gate. around 9:45, I could see Yokomi and Kimura over the shutter. I called their name, then Yokomi noticed me. They came in front of the gate and Yokomi said "Just a moment", and Yuko said, "Please enjoy".

At 10:00, the gate was opened and I entered the stadium. Their talk shows were held 4 times, and the 1st time would start at 10:10. So I went to the stage. When the talk show started, the theme song of "Tetsuko no Tabi" anime, "Nanka Ari Kamone" sung by SUPER BELL"Z, and the host and the three appeared. The theme of this time was "The attractive point of Keikyu". while they 3 talked about this, Kawashima said that he worked at Kawasaki racetrack and Kagetsuen Bicycle Racetrack as a guard.

Between 1st time and 2nd time, I had 2 hours. During the blank, I watched HO gauge models of Keikyu trains. Successive Keikyu trains, from the old model 230 Series, displaying in front of Hobby Center KATO in Ochiai-minami-nagasaki, to the latest model 2100 Series and New 1000 Series, were displayed and ran on the circle track.

From 12:10 PM, Kawashima and the host talked about "Ecology traffic, Railways". He talked about LRT and Train on Train, the Shinkansen freight train carrying 1,067mm/42.00787in gauge ones.

From 1:10 PM, Kimura and Yokomi appeared on the stage and Kimura performed 2 her songs. I heard both songs first time but it was fun. She said that she could sing these with no miss first time.

From 2:10 PM, they 3 answered our questions and messages. I also wanted to write questions to them, but I couldn't. One of the messages was "Please excite us" to Yokomi. He tried to excite us as he behaved on "Tetsuko no Tabi" comic, shouting in a loud voice. But his real shout couldn't be so noisy.

After all of the talk shows were ended, I went out of the stadium. While going back home, I shot some photographs of Keikyu trains.
