![]() Baba says that he has experienced various things he feels regrettable and vexing in his life. But they are due to his choice -everything he did and decided-, and there is no undoing. He thinks he must accept all good things and bad things and sad or frustrating experiences, and keep on going. So he came up with a key word "Enchousen" (extended games). Sometimes there are "Ameno season"(rainy seasons), and we face "Jikangire" (time out) in our lives. Sometimes we are at a loss what we live for, but even so, we are heading for "Kimiga kureta mirai" (the future you gave me). If we see his backgrounds, we would find that positive attitudes he sings are never appearances: Baba made his debut once in 1996 and released three albums, but the contract expired in 2000 -he was 32 back then. He established an independent label and kept working on his music steadily. He gradually rose in popularity around Osaka. Then, "Boys on the run" was broadcasted on the radio and some of his songs were covered by famous musicians. And he took part in a famous summer open-air concert with a famous duo that covered his song. He made a contract with the former record company and made a debut again in August 2005. Baba talks about "20nengono koi" (love in 20 years later): A pair of lovers became a couple and parents in 20 years -everything has changed drastically, but it's reality. There is no telling what happens in our lives unless we live our lives. If he still keeps on his music career in the future, he would wish to write songs about love in 30 years or 40 years later.
