「ハウンド・ドッグ(Hound Dog）」は、エルビス・プレスリー(Elvis Presley)が、1956年に「冷たくしないで (Don't Be Cruel)」のB面として発表した曲です。A面、B面ともにヒット曲となり。「ハウンド・ドッグ」は1956年8月18日に、ビルボードのポップ・チャートの1位を獲得。以後11週連続でその座に留まり、この年の年間ランキングで第1位となりました。
