From 2012, Chikuzen Satou from Sing Like Talking is going on a series of solo gigs as charity concerts for 3.11 earthquake disaster, visiting every prefecture one by one per month.
But from autumn 2015, this tour was suspended because he was occupied with recordings of S.L.T. and his solo, and various concerts, as a session vocalist in great demand.
During suspension, in April 2016, there was a massive earthquake in Kumamoto and Ooita.
Due to that, when this series of charity concert was resumed again in this August, the title was changed:
While the title was "北郷想", attention was focused on northern area of Japan.
"北"(kita) is "north": The stricken area of 3.11 earthquake disaster is northeastern area in Japan.
　And members of S.L.T. live in Tokyo now.
　　Seen from Tokyo, their home town and stricken area is in northern area.
The new title is "故郷想" -"故郷" (furusato) means "home" in Japanese.
It means not only geographical places, but also family and friends.
"想" (sou) means -maybe "sympathy", "silent support" and "staying present together".
In this concert, Chikuzen performs various range of songs -his solo work, songs of Sing Like Talking, various old and new songs in Japan and other countries.
The point is: He selects songs sound different at the situation of charity concerts for natural disaster.
Due to the earthquake disaster, more than 167 thousand people are still living as evacuees, and associated death is gradually increasing.
Many survivors wish people to keep the earthquake disaster and people at the spot in mind.
Chikuzen says that the main purpose of this series of concerts is chain of memory.
