I've recognized this composer from famous songs like "Chariots of Fire" and "Hymn".
I'd like to take this occasion to place a gratitude and respect to this great composer for offering "Anthem" for World Cup 2002.
But as for this latest album of Vangelis, I found information on Twitter, @ESA_Rosetta -otherwise I might have missed.
Actually, in our country, only import was available -at least when this album was on sale and I tried to search.
I read commentary to find that the first song in this album was played on the day Philae lander touched down on Comet67P.
Although I missed when Rosetta began to fly along Comet 67P and Philae landed,
As I listened to this album, I wondered how Vangelis worked on songs in this album watching adventure of Rosetta and Philae in real time.

Space and Universe【シリーズ10-line】:砂時計

Rosetta's mission, which inspired Vangelis, ended in success on September 30.
When I was a junior high school student, I had interest in space and space exploration, but backed down after I frank in mathematics in high school, and came back in spring 2015.
I began to read about Rosetta and website of ESA after I was surprised at the news that Philae, which fell into shade and unable to use solar battery and went into hibernation, woke up and resumed communication after seven month absence.
I'd like to place words of reward for Rosetta and Philae and operation team members of European Space Agency.
Members working on data analysis are still busy.
-Just after I took up this composition, I saw the news on Twitter, @NASAVoyager, that after 30 years since Voyager 2's Uranus flyby, a possibility came up by data from Voyager 2 that Uranus may have two undiscovered moons.
This Twitter is seldom renewed, so I don't access so often.
I suppose that this mission has been much more exciting for us general public thanks to Twitter, which is special to today
-But don't get me wrong; don't think that it makes me feel like dabbling in Twitter.
On the final day of Rosetta's mission, announce of mission complete were posted with various languages on Twitter;
I appreciate the declaration "任務達成" in Japanese.
Last December, on the day of Hayabusa2's Earth swing-by, I saw cheering messages on Twitter of Rosetta and Philae,
And realized that both Rosetta and Hayabusa2 are on important mission to search for keys to the origins of Solar System and life on Earth.
Now it's Hayabusa2's turn.

Incidentally, let me place an artless question that I thought when I was a junior high school student:
Pioneer and Voyager spacecraft are destined to wander out of the Solar System, and that's why they load messages for extraterrestrial lives.
Now New Horizons is following them.
These space probes would be exceptions, but this time, Rosetta ended its mission by landing on comet.
Cassini and Juno are going to plunge into planets they are searching and burn up in the atmosphere at the end of their mission.
Once I wondered that why we cannot salvage space probes after they finish their mission
-It would be impossible to salvage lander like Viking, Huygens and Philae, but how about orbiters?

グラスの影2016

On "Favorite, recommendation" in my weblog, I'm placing CDs only in Japan, so I place this on "Music 10-line essays".
Who is 200,000th visitor!?

:Ready to place translation if asked
