Serene state of mind

SALT&SUGAR, a duo of Chikuzen Satou and Satoru Shionoya alias SALT, is making a release of two albums after 13 years’ absence.
They formed a duo and released their first album "Concerts" in 1996:
10 live-recording songs and 3 original songs recorded in studio.

After that, they've performed together at various concerts.
They hold special annual concerts with various singers in Osaka every year around May 5 -Chikuzen's birthday.
It’s named “Cross Your Fingers”. (See also Jul. 14, 2006)
SALT holds concerts every year around Christmas in Tokyo with Chikuzen and various musicians.
It's named "Saltish Night".
And they took part in several omnibus albums as SALT&SUGAR.
However, they didn't make a release nor wrote their original songs for 13 years.

On August 19, their two albums are released on the same day.
Chikuzen and SALT belong to different record companies.
From Universal Music Chikuzen belongs to, a studio-recording album "Interactive":
Some songs are from omnibus CDs they took part in.
Some songs are written by them together, and some covered numbers are newly recorded.
From Victor Entertainment SALT belongs to, a live-recording album "Concerts 2":
Songs performed at "Saltish Night" are included.

Incidentally, the title of their concert tour as SALT&SUGAR from this autumn is "13nenburitte, anata!" (13 years' absence!? -come on!).
