今が生死

妻が遠近両用の眼鏡をどこかに置き忘れてしまい困っていた。郵便局とか整体とかな
くしたと思う日に立ち寄った所に聞いてみたがないという。本人は家の中だと思うと
のことで病気になるくらい必死に家の中を探した。私も探した。たまたま滋賀から東
京へ出張の息子も我が家に立ち寄ってくれた時一階と2階の隅から隅まで探してくれ
た。眼鏡の一つや二つ新しいのを買えばいいと思ったが、愛着のある眼鏡らしく何日
も必死に探していた。私がなくしたのなら誰も探してくれなかったと思うが、妻は人
に尽くすタイプなので、周りの殆どの人が恩義を受けており、それらの人も一緒に探
して疲れ果てていた。2週間経ち、諦めて新しいのを買おうかと話していた時、姪と
甥が昼食を食べに遊びにきた。眼鏡の話をしたらやはり必死に探してくれた。そして
それまでの人達は家の中を隅から隅まで探していたが甥は家の周りの庭の方まで探し
てくれた。そして遂に庭につながる畑の中に落ちていたのを見つけ出してくれたので
ある。ナスを採ろうとして畑に出た時ポケットから落としたらしい。想像もしないと
ころから出てきて皆驚き安堵して喜んだ。

My wife was in trouble to forget her near and far eyeglasses somewhere. She
says she did not find it although asking where he stopped by the day she
thought she lost, the post office or the body massage center.
She searched it in the house desperately for reason that she thought it was
in the house as like becoming sick. I also looked for it. My son who was on
business trip from Shiga to Tokyo dropped in at my house and also searched
from the corner of the first floor and the corner of the second floor.
I thought that it would be good to buy one or two new glasses, but she was
desperately looking for it as her favorite spectacles every days. I think
that nobody search for me if I lost it, but my wife is a type to administer to her
fellows, so almost fellows around her are indebted and they were exhausted
trying to find it for her.
Two weeks later, when we are giving up and talking about buying a new one,
my niece and nephew came to have lunch. After hearing about glasses the
nephew was desperately searching for it. And while the previous people were
looking through the house from corner to corner, my nephew looked up to the
garden around my house. He finally found out it in the field leading to the
garden. It seems that she dropped it from her pocket when she entered the
field trying to pick up eggplants. Everyone was surprised and delighted to
be relieved as it came out from an unimaginable place.
