シャトー・レオヴィル・ラスカーズ［1975］　CP96

これ開きました。旨いです。

78よりお兄さんなのに全然若くて元気です。

不思議ですねワインは・・・・

75と言えば既に35年です。人間ならまだまだ若いですが、犬や猫ならとっくに死んでいますし、アルコール度数13度の液体が腐りもせずに何故若々しさを保っているのか本当に不思議です。

10年か15年位のワインの様な感じです。

でも壮大なスケール感と複雑さ、そして一口ごとに変化する味わい、若々しいフレッシュな果実味を持っています。

これだけ美味しくバランスの良いボルドーに出会う事は滅多にありません。

まあ細かい事書いても意味が無いのですが、良い物は旨い！！と言う事です。

10年前に飲んだ時はタニックでエグミがあって香りも弱く、いわゆるお寝んね状態でした。25年でこんなに寝ているなんて！！82のムートンみたいでした。

でも35年経って良いです、変わりました。

色は深く濃いガーネット、35年物ですがレンガは全くありません。香はカシス、杉と言ったカベルネの香り、優しい鉛筆や鉄分の香り、森林、大地、味わいは濃密でフレッシュな果実味、丸くなって飲みごたえのあるタンニン、強いミネラル感、余韻の綺麗な優しい酸、強く大きなワインですが艶っぽさも持っています。

ラスカーズの魅力の集大成と言っても良いと思います。

ラフィットがカベルネの佃煮、ラトゥールがカベルネのジャムと言えばラスカーズはカベルネのたまり醤油ですね、そして75はカベルネの妖精ですね。

最近20000円チョイで売っています。私が買った頃より為替の事もあって安いです。当りの瓶ならお買い得ですよ。75でこれだけ若々しく美味しいワインはありません。

このヴィンテージの大成功を示す例である。ただし、柔らかくて、気軽な、しなやかな現代風の味わいのワインを好む人々は、好ましいとは思わないかもしれない。それはなぜか？　タンニンが強く、内向的で、1948年や1928年といったヴィンテージの特徴からは除外された、スタイルの古いワインであるためだ。色は暗いルビーからガーネット色で、エッジにわずかに琥珀色が見え、はっきりとしたミネラル、鉛筆、甘いがあっさりした印象のブラックカラントの香りのするノーズがある。フルボディで、厚みと凝縮味があり、例外的にがっしりとして力強い。センセーショナルと言えるほどに豊かで強烈なこのワインは、ヴィンテージのなかでも最も長命なもの
のひとつとなるであろう。この強いタンニンのレベルを考えれば、あと20年から35年持ちこたえるのは確実だが、その頃までには衰えてしまっているかもしれない。私は1990年代半ばに全盛期に達すると考えたのだが、あと5年から8年は寝かせる必要がある。非常に印象的だが、内向的で硬質なワインだ。

1975 Leoville-Las Cases 

Feb 1996 Robert Parker 92 Drink: 2001 - 2031 $151-$200

This is one of the great successes of the vintage. However, those with modern day tastes for soft, easy-going, supple wines may not enjoy the 1975 Leoville Las-Cases. Why? It is a tannic, backward, old style wine cut from the mold of such vintages as 1948 and 1928. The color is a dark ruby/garnet with a hint of amber at the edge. The nose offers up distinctive mineral, lead pencil, sweet, blackcurrant scents with flinty overtones. Full-bodied, thick, and concentrated, as well as atypically muscular and powerful, this should prove to be one of the longest-lived wines of the vintage. There are sensational levels of richness and intensity. While the vintage's tough tannin level ensures another 20-35 years of longevity, the wine may dry out by that time. I thought this wine would be at its peak by the mid-nineties, but it still needs another 5-8 years of cellaring. It is a very impressive, albeit backward and hard wine.

Oct 1995 Robert Parker 93 Drink: 1996 - 2010 $151-$200

It is fashionable, as well as often justifiable, to criticize this slowly evolving vintage where disappointments outweigh successes, particularly in the Medoc. Perhaps some of the Cabernet Sauvignon-based wines will behave like 1955s or 1928s, but Leoville-Las Cases is unquestionably one of the stars of the vintage. The murky dark ruby/purple/garnet color is followed by a nose with a pronounced mineral/wet stone component intermingled with ripe, earthy, berry fruit (red and black currants galore). Still ferociously tannic to the point of astringency, this medium to full-bodied, concentrated wine reveals no signs of color degradation. The wine is intense and chewy, but still tough-textured. Those who like wines with considerable grip and tannic bite will enjoy this wine at present, but it remains a young wine that has not moved out of adolescence. Anticipated maturity: 1996-2010+
